Do I need a licence or can anyone buy fireworks?
Only licensed and experienced people can purchase fireworks from Ace Fireworks Mfg.Co.,Ltd. Licenses can be obtained through State government authorities such as Workcover in NSW and Victoria, the Department of Mines and Energy in Queensland, Department for Administrative and Information Services in South Australia and Workplace Services in the Northern Territory.
People living outside Australia must have a permit to import fireworks into the country and then the appropriate permits to use the fireworks in that country.

What is public liability insurance?
Public Liability Insurance is a policy that can be taken out to cover clients, spectators and property in the event of any incidents at a fireworks display. This insurance covers bodily injury to third parties, and/or damage to third party property.

It is essential to have public liability insurance when performing work in public or private properties and Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics have a public liability insurance policy covering $20,000,000 so clients and authorities can be assured all elements of the event are covered.
Can I get made to order fireworks?
As Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics have a state-of-the-art fireworks manufacturing facility you can design the colours, duration and effects you required and we will create the fireworks as per your request. This ensures that you get the colour to suit your display, effects that are safe to use at the site and also burn for the time duration you want them too. For example if you are launching you company's new logo and it is blue and you want the entire fireworks display to be blue, then Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics are able to make a wide variety of blue products so that you see all the different types of fireworks available such as Comets, Mines, Roman Candles, Multi Shot Barrages and Aerial Shells in your display.

If you want fireworks to use indoors, small outdoor sites or out in a harbour Howard and Sons Pyrotechnics are able to produce the product for you.

How much do fireworks cost?
It's a bit like "How long is a piece of string?" The answer is it can be as long as you want or as short as you want.
